My name is Enzo. Shocking, right?

Online, I go by enzv, because the internet prefers people as short strings.

I come from software. I am not an expert. I just have standards, which already makes me a problem in several codebases.

Near the end of my degree, I got into networks. Packets, routes, radio, latency, loss, MTU, and other things that break without caring how clean your app looked.

I almost left software. I finished the degree instead, then moved closer to networks, because computers make more sense when you stop pretending one process is the whole system.

My first Linux memory is Ubuntu and a penguin game. I have been using Linux since then, long enough that I no longer remember when it became normal.

I like control. Enough to compile the kernel on purpose and call it a choice instead of a symptom. Maybe that is taste. Maybe it is damage. Either way, it boots.

I use a distro close enough to Linux From Scratch to see how things work, but not close enough to make every update a fight with libc(7).

This is my corner of the web. It runs on a small Go program because publishing text should not require a small nation of dependencies.

Git goes in. Static files come out. GitHub Pages serves them. Nobody needs a service mesh to deliver words.

This is text, not infrastructure.
